Even rings cannot avoid the ravages of time, therefore it is common that shiny rings eventually become dull and the tarnished ones again shine after some period of wearing. For rings, where a combination of glossy and matte material is used the time difference is not so visible. It is also true that traces of normal use will be less noticeable on shiny rings.
In fact the patina is part of the ring, so do not worry about choosing any surface treatment. You can also continuously use the service of the complete restoration finishes, which we offer our customers absolutely free of charge once every 2 years.
Read more about this service in the section "Jewellery service".
Our unique after-sales service of wedding rings involves restoration of ring finishes, cleaning and polishing. We offer this service to you completely free, every 2 years from the purchase made. However, it is not recommended that rings undergo this operation every 2 years, since the polishing could lead to material loss. The patina obtained by wearing is an integral part of each ring.

On account of their resemblance to diamonds, zirconia are often set in jewellery, although they are synthetically produced. Zirconia are soft, which over time leads to wear and tarnishing, though this can be slowed down but not prevented. However, during the production of BISAKU jewels we only use specially calibrated zirconia.
Diamond, or brilliant if you will, is the hardest known natural mineral, which is cut using the so-called brilliant cut and its "brilliance", will then last forever, with no threat of scratching.
The answer to this question is indeed easy. Both cases concern the same mineral-diamond. This stone then becomes brilliant when grinded into the desired cut. Using the brilliant cut only changes the name of the diamond, it becomes a diamond that has been cut into an oval, round, or other shape. The brilliant cut is not the only method of cutting diamonds, but it is the most common. Jewellery with brilliants are passed down in families for generations and are good investments. Such a brilliant jewel then has lasting value.
The iridescence in brilliants is simply unmissable. The difference between zirconia and diamond can even be seen by a layman in good natural light. A bigger difference can be observed after some time of wearing the jewellery. This is namely because dirtiness and wear and tear causes the graying of the zirconia. On the contrary, this does not happen with brilliants, whose gloss is not lost during wearing.
The brilliants which we use, boast the best quality, because we work only with proven companies that are specialists in the field of precious stones on both foreign and Czech markets.
All prices of brilliant jewelry on our website are calculated with brilliants with the quality SI and the color G. Have you chosen our ring, but you want to fit a brilliant stone of a higher quality in it? Then please contact us and surely we can agree on the production of your dream jewellery.
We normally provide a 2 year warranty on jewellery. Regarding BISAKU wedding rings, we provide you, as our customers, a lifetime warranty on the materials used and the workmanship of the rings, with effect from 1. 1. 2013.
We only insert stones into the rings manually, and after many years of experience we can confirm that stone mostly fall out of rings under heavy impact or mechanical damage. If a stone falls out of your ring, bring the ring for complaint, we will assess the damage and will try to resolve the situation as soon as possible and to your satisfaction. If we do not find any signs of mechanical damage or interference by a third party on the ring, then we will place the stone in the jewellery for you for free. If you want to ask us anything about complaints, please contact us.
White gold is actually naturally silvery white, but it is slightly colored to yellow. What is it caused by? The actual white gold is formed from an alloy of pure gold, which is naturally yellow, and admixtures of other metals such as silver and palladium. Silver-white color, which is characteristic for white gold, is achieved by coating it with a layer of rhodium. This layer gradually wears down during wearing. Therefore a ring in white gold can get a yellow tinge.
For the production of BISAKU jewellery we use white gold alloys containing silver, zinc and nickel, or silver and palladium. These alloys are known for the highest possible whiteness and hardness. All of the alloys we use are registered with the Assay Office of the Czech Republic. Our jewellery is carefully tried out and labelled with the state hallmark.
Yes, for the production of white gold rings we use white-gold alloy AU / 585, which contains gold, silver, zinc and nickel. The content of nickel in the alloy is about 6%, while the alloy meets all Czech and European standards. It is also registered by the Assay Office, whose test all of our products go through.
We can recommend a few principles so that your rings last as long as possible. You should take off your ring when washing your hands and using hand cream. They also should not come into contact with other chemicals and detergents. Traces of wear, or scratches to the rings can also be prevented by avoiding their wearing while playing sports, swimming, working in the garden, or normal household chores.
If you choose a ring fitted with diamonds, then you will receive a Certificate of the authenticity and quality of the natural stone with the ring. This certificate will include a 4C evaluation, it states the weight of the diamond in carats, as well as the quality, color and cut of the stone. Regarding larger stones, you may then also receive an international certificate from the reputable gemological laboratories GIA, EG, HRD and IGI.
All of our rings are always packed in an exclusive handmade BISAKU box for you. Of course there are also all the documents, meaning the proof of purchase (receipt) Certificate of Authenticity (since 1.6.2015), and if your jewelry includes a diamond, also a certificate for the diamond.
